Kendra Johnson,
oboe and English horn


Kendra Johnson has been enjoying a diverse career. She has maintained an active teaching studio for nearly twenty years, and previously taught oboe and music theory at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and in orchestras around the world - on the island of Guam, and in Germany, Japan, Los Angeles, Washington State, and in Utah where she was a frequent guest with the Utah Symphony. Her upcoming adventures will lead to performances in Morocco and Europe.

Kendra holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Theory and Composition from Arizona State University, and a Master of Music in Oboe Performance from UCLA. She has studied with Marion Kuszyk, Robert Stephenson, Gary Moody, and Martin Schuring. She currently resides in the mountains of Cloudcroft, New Mexico.
